    • Sit in any comfortable asana, for example Sukhasana, Padmasana or Vajrasana
    • Vigorously rub the palms of both hands until the hands are warm.
    • Place your hands over your closed eyes gently without exerting pressure.
    • The energy from the hands will be transferred from the hands to the eyes.
    • Keep your hands over your eyes until your hands return to normal temperature.
    • Repeat the same sequence at least 3 times.

    * Please note that while practicing this eye yoga exercise the palms should cover the eyes and not the fingers.

    • When your hand reaches maximum height, bring it down as you exhale to rest on your knee.

    • Close your eyes and rest at the end.

  7. Eye Yoga: Preliminary Yoga Nosetip Focusing exercise for eyes

    • Sit with your legs stretched out in front.
    • Bring your arm forward in front of your nose with your thumb up.
    • As you inhale, bring your thumb close to touch the tip of your nose. The focus will be on the thumb throughout this time.
    • Keep focusing on the tip of the nose as your thumb rests on it. Hold your breath during this period.
    • As you exhale, stretch your arm forward again.
    • Repeat the same yoga exercise with both hands for at least 5-6 times.
